A reward up to $5,000 to help solve an arson case is available after two vehicles burned in two days last month at the same house in Preble County.

Lewisburg Fire and EMS responded April 13 to the 6900 block of Shields Road for a camper fire. The camper was engulfed when crews arrived.

The next day, crews were called to the same house after a Chevrolet Trailblazer caught fire that was parked in front of the home.

The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee is offering the reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the fires.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office and Preble County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the arson case. Anyone with information should call the fire marshal at 800-589-2728.
