Crews are removing the poles for the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority trolley buses in Oakwood, the final stage of a yearlong process.

The RTA removal work is being done because the overhead trolley system through Oakwood is obsolete and no longer in service for buses, the city said.

The wires were removed earlier in the year. The removal of the poles will complete the project.
