Deputies are asking for help finding a suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Harrison Twp.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a gold 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with Ohio registration GZT-6248.

The car is registered to a 72-year-old from Lima and was possibly driven by a relative at the time of the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.

The owner is reportedly not cooperating with investigators and the sheriff’s office is asking for help locating the car.

The car may be hidden somewhere in the Lima area. Anyone with information on the car’s location should call Montgomery County Regional Dispatch at 937-225-4357 (HELP).

The crash took place around 12:58 a.m. on Sunday when a car hit a motorcycle on West Siebenthaler Avenue near Catalpa Drive.

When deputies arrived, they found a motorcyclist with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Harrison Twp. medics transported him to the hospital for treatment.
