The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announced that it has found the suspect vehicle from a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Harrison Twp.

The car is registered to a 72-year-old from Lima and was possibly driven by a relative at the time of the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.

The owner was reportedly not cooperating with investigators and the sheriff’s office asked for public help locating the car, and thought the car may be hidden somewhere in the Lima area.

The crash took place around 12:58 a.m. on Sunday when a car hit a motorcycle on West Siebenthaler Avenue near Catalpa Drive.

When deputies arrived, they found a motorcyclist with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Harrison Twp. medics transported him to the hospital for treatment.
