The firemen at Station 45 in Washington Twp. recently had a good time as they tried to give out some safety tips for homeowners in their township.

Six firefighters posed for awkward photos (similar to your awkward family photos) shot by Lisa Dennison of Lisa D Photography and then posted them to the department’s Facebook page, giving residents advice on how to keep their homes safe this holiday season.

The photos have been a hit on social media.

The men were dressed similar to a throwback photo of actor and wrestler Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson.

We can’t help you avoid awkward family photos this holiday season. But we can help you prevent fire hazards in your home.

  • Never leave candles unattended. Consider swapping them out for flameless candles to keep cozy and safe.
  • Keep your decorations (including Christmas trees) away from fireplaces, candles, and space heaters.
  • Keep a watchful eye while cooking holiday treats.
  • Avoid overloading electrical outlets with festive cheer.

This safety message is brought to you from your Station 45 crew. Keeping the holidays memorable and awkward, one family photo at a time. #firefamily #awkwardfamilyphotos #firesafety
