3 injured in Sugarcreek Twp. crash; alcohol believed to be a factor

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in a two-vehicle crash that seriously injured a man and also injured two 16-year-olds in Sugarcreek Twp. Thursday.

A Ford F-150 driven by a 69-year-old Beavercreek man crossed the center line around 9:35 p.m. on Wagner Road near Wagner Hill Road and hit a 2013 Lexus CT 200H head on, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Two teenagers were in the SUV.

The man and the teens were taken to Miami Valley Hospital South. The man was not wearing the seat belt at the time of the crash, according to OSHP. The teens were wearing seat belts.

The crash closed Wagner Road for approximately three hours. Sugarcreek Twp. police and fire and Bellbrook EMS assisted patrol at the scene.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
