The girl was in the backseat of a Chevrolet Cruze when it was stolen, said Trotwood police Detective Kim DeLong. The car was running when it was stolen.
The toddler and car were found near Churchland Avenue and Windlow Drive.
An off-duty Five Rivers MetroParks ranger was in the area when the Amber Alert was issued and decided to search for the vehicle.
While driving around, the ranger found the vehicle abandoned with the girl inside, according to a social media post from Five Rivers MetroParks.
The Amber Alert was in effect for three minutes.
The girl appeared to be unharmed, but she was taken to the hospital to be evaluated, DeLong said.
No arrests have been made.
