Two motorcyclists were transported to the hospital after separate crashes reported around the same time in Harrison Township Tuesday evening.

The first of the two crashes was reported at Turner Road and North Main Street at 8:33 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center records.

A man was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle west on Turner Road as a woman driving a 2017 Jeep Compass was leaving a parking lot and onto Turner Road.

The woman did not see the motorcyclist and pulled in front of him, causing the motorcycle to hit the back of the Jeep, according to a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office crash report.

A woman who called 911 told dispatchers that she didn’t see the crash, but to send a medic. The caller confirmed the motorcyclist was awake and breathing, according to 911 records.

The motorcyclist suffered possible injuries, according to the report. The woman driving the Jeep was not injured, but was cited for right of way on a public highway.

Emergency crews responded and transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital.

The second was reported at 8:35 p.m. in the 3100 block of North Dixie Drive, where a pickup truck reportedly crashed into the motorcycle.

A 911 caller said the motorcyclist was not moving and barely breathing, according to dispatch records.

Medics transported the motorcyclist to Miami Valley Hospital.

The severity of second motorcyclist’s injuries are not known.
