“He hit the bucket and he knocked the guy out of the bucket,” the 911 caller told the dispatcher he saw as he waited at the light.
The bucket was about 15 to 20 feet up in the air when it was struck, he said.
The man worked for a private contractor and working on the traffic lights over state Route 4 (Germantown Pike) at the time of the crash.
The worker’s injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken by ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital, according to the Jefferson Twp. Fire Department.
