Woman fatally struck, dragged by hit-and-run driver in Dayton ID’d

A Harrison Twp. woman was found dead Monday morning on a Dayton roadway after police say she was struck and dragged by a hit-and-run driver.

She was identified Tuesday as 43-year-old Tiffany Suzzane Anderson by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Officers were dispatched at around 4:50 a.m. to the 200 block of Redwood Avenue, off North Main Street near the border between Dayton and Harrison Twp.

“The victim had injuries indicating she had been struck and dragged by a vehicle,” said Dayton Police Department spokesman James Rider. “Detectives are actively investigating this incident.”

The woman was found in the street on Redwood Avenue near the Addison Avenue intersection, but was in the roadway in the 200 block when she was struck and dragged by an unknown vehicle, according to a crash report.
