The driver of a car involving in a crash with a school bus suffered non-life-threatening injuries on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. STAFF PHOTO / MARSHALL GORBY

The driver of a car that hit a Centerville City Schools bus Wednesday morning in Washington Twp. was taken to Southview Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Twelve students were aboard the bus around 8:30 a.m. that was headed east on Normandy Ridge Road when the bus driver tried to turn left onto Paragon Road. The bus driver failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a gray Chrysler headed south on Paragon Road, according to the sheriff’s office.

No injuries were reported from the school bus.

The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
