A Miamisburg company has opened a $13 million North American headquarters to bring 140 jobs to the Austin interchange area.

The move by United Grinding North America from Earl Boulevard to Old Byers Road is part of deal exceeding $18 million in investments and incentives.

The company announced the opening today. A ribbon cutting is set for Friday.

The 110,000 square foot facility is on about 15 acres just west of Interstate 75, less than a half mile from the Austin Boulevard interchange.

The building brings the company’s cylindrical, surface and profile grinding business units as well as its automation and rebuilding departments from its existing offices in Miamisburg together with the staff from its tool and cutter grinding machines and measurement systems sectors who were formerly located in Fredericksburg, Va.
