Reports that Amazon wanted to create its own delivery service that would directly rival UPS and FedEx began surfacing earlier this year, and the company ordered 20,000 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans to help build its fleet in September.
The job posting says drivers will deliver packages to home, businesses and retail locations in vans carrying up to 10,000 pounds.
