Borders closing Dayton store in bankruptcy filing

NEW YORK -- The Borders bookstore at the Dayton Mall is among about 200 stores across the country closing as the company files for bankruptcy protection.  Clearance sales could begin as early as this weekend according to documents filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.  The rest of the company's over 400 stores are expected to remain open for now.  Analysts say Borders didn't keep up with the changing ways people buy books.  They say people are buying more books at discount stores like Costco and Walmart and on-line sales are also growing along with electronic books.
