Brian Golsby, the man who faces the death penalty for the slaying of Ohio State student Reagan Tokes, pleaded not guilty this afternoon to all charges.

Golsby was arraigned in Franklin County Common Pleas Court following an 18-count indictment that included aggravated robberies in south Columbus two weeks prior to Tokes’ death, according to our news partner WBNS-TV in Columbus.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien will seek the death penalty in the case against Ohio State student Reagan Tokes’ accused killer, Brian Golsby.

Golsby was indicted Friday on kidnapping, rape and murder charges in connection to Reagan Tokes’ slaying, in addition to seven counts of aggravated robbery.

One of those counts was for allegedly forcing Tokes to withdrawal money from an ATM and stealing her car. The other six are related to attacks in in German Village and south Columbus that occurred this year.

Brian Golsby, the man accused of killing Ohio State student Reagan Tokes, has been connected to other reported robberies and attacks.

Golsby also is the suspect in the German Village and south Columbus attacks that occurred in the weeks leading up to the Tokes’ death, according to  the Franklin County Prosecutor.

The German Village attacks were a string of four armed robberies near Columbus this year that were all committed against women. The attacks spanned from Jan. 23- Feb. 7.

Reagan Tokes, the Ohio State student killed on Feb. 10,  was a senior psychology major expected to graduate in May. Her body was found with two gunshot wounds at Scioto Grove MetroPark.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien says there is a press conference planned for 1 p.m. Friday  discussing Golsby’s case and the connection to the German village and south Columbus attacks.
