A rendering plastered across the front of a vacant building on Brown Street gives passers-by a glimpse of what could be a new development that would close a gap in the popular business corridor as it stretches into Oakwood.

A one-story building at 1916 Brown St., between the Pine Club and Buffalo Wild Wings, has a large sign on its front facade with the words “coming soon.”

The rendering shows a new three-story building where the current empty building, and a vacant building next door, stand.

The drawing features a structure with a brick and stone exterior and high-quality siding, and there are signs above the first-floor facades saying “bistro” and “tenant.”

The vacant buildings at 1916 and 1922 Brown St. were purchased last year by Realwitt LLC, which own the Buffalo Wild Wings building just north, according to Montgomery County real estate records.

According to state business records, the incorporators of Realwitt are listed as David Fisher, Eric Lundgren and John Slaughenhaupt. Slaughenhaupt owns the nearby Milano’s and is co-founder of R Taco.

The owners could not be immediately reached for comment Wednesday afternoon.
