Exclusive Interview: Former News Center 7 intern now executive producer of Entertainment Tonight

A Sidney local is now the executive producer for Entertainment Tonight.

Erin Johnson interned for News Center 7 years ago, but she lives in Los Angeles now.

“I’ve always kind of felt called to California, that sort of thing, work my way there,” Johnson said.

Right now, Johnson is working to find a new co-host for Kevin Frazier.

“We want someone who is real, who is a journalist,” she said.

Johnson has worked on other popular CBS shows during her professional climb including Ellen, and Live with Kelly & Michael. She also headed up coverage of the Royal Wedding.
