Tenneco’s match from the city is estimated at $1.5 million over a five-year period and is expected to create 483 jobs. NanoSperse is receiving $5,500 and will create eight jobs and Prime Controls will receive $3,500 and create 10½ jobs.
Council also approved requests to authorize the city manager to advertise for bids for several projects including $1.3 million for their street maintenance program and bids for the Shroyer Road Improvement Project.
Kettering, along with Oakwood and the Ohio Department of Transportation, have joined together for the $2 million project with Kettering holding $340,000 of the financial burden.
