Students were evacuated from the building for approximately 30 minutes while the fire department inspected the building.

After examining the building, fire crews determined the smell of smoke was caused my an air handler on the roof, a device used to regulate and circulate air.
The air handler was shut off and students were able to reenter the building and resume classes.
