A man has been charged with murder and felonious assault in a deadly shooting on South Broadway Street that occurred Sunday morning, according to Montgomery County court records.

The fight quickly became physical and a third person, 40-year-old Corleone Lewis, attempted to break up the fight before he was fatally shot.

Johnson reportedly pulled out a gun from his pants and shot two rounds in the direction of three people at the scene, including Lewis.

Authorities say the initial gunshots hit Lewis and he immediately fell to the ground.

Another person was shot in the ankle, fell, and began crawling away through the yard, according to a court affidavit. As he crawled away the second victim reportedly heard another round of gunshots, but was unsure where they were coming from.

Police later found that Johnson was shot in the arm during the second exchange of gunfire.

It is not clear what sparked the argument.
