Mary Lindsey was woken up around midnight by the crash.
“It sounded like one of those firecrackers,” Lindsey said. “My husband jumped up and started running through the house telling me to get up.”
When Lindsey and her husband got outside they saw a pole laying in their front yard and a vehicle crashed into the garage that Lindsey called her “she shed.” The driver fled the scene on foot.

“The driver of the car was already gone,” Lindsey said. “My neighbor across the street followed him and called me to let me know where he was. He even gave a description to the sheriff.”
Lindsey had a few words for the driver.
“You need to come man up to what you did,” Lindsey said. “You tore up my yard, I can’t get my car out of the garage. Be responsible for what you did instead of running.”
