Man jailed after Dayton police find more than 800 grams of suspected drugs

A Dayton man remains in jail on drug-related charges after police found a quantity of suspected drugs and narcotics at his residence.

Marcus Anthony Shackleford, 38, was arrested Tuesday morning at a residence in the 400 block of Fountain Avenue and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on felony charges of drug possession and drug trafficking. Shackleford also was being sought on a warrant out of Warren County, according to online jail records.

According to a Dayton police incident report, police found more than 800 grams of unspecified drugs.

Police did not identify the type of drugs seized, according to the report.
