Noonlight’s home screen is simply one button that says hold until safe.
The idea is for users to hold the button until they are in a safe place whether they are walking home or riding the bus.

After the button is released, the user has 10 seconds to enter in a code. If the code is not entered, then the app calls police and sends them to the location.
“Sounds like something that would be a good idea for anybody walking by themselves in public,” said Danielle Vincent.
