Passenger ejected from car on I-75 being treated for life-threatening injuries

UPDATE @ 8:05 p.m.:

A car rolled over multiple times, ejecting a rear passenger during a single-vehicle accident on I-75 northbound near mile marker 78, Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed.

The person was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital for life-threatening injuries.

Police are currently investigating what caused the accident.

The northbound center and left lanes are closed, but should reopen within the next half hour, OSP said.

FIRST REPORT:

An accident on I-75 northbound near mile marker 78 has caused at least one person to be ejected, Miami County dispatch confirmed.

Scanner reports indicated the car rolled over several times and injuries could be fatal.
