Christopher Coorough, 44, of Kettering, tested positive for having amphetamine drugs in his system during the time of the crash on Interstate 75 in Troy, according to the crash report.
It is not clear whether the drugs were prescribed medication or illegal. Troopers said that part of the investigation is still ongoing.

Coorough did not test positive for alcohol, according to the report.
Skelton was parked in a crossover on I-75 just north of state Route 41 around 6:45 a.m. Nov. 27 when a Ford F-250 driven by Coorough struck her vehicle.
Skelton, who joined the patrol in October 2005, was pronounced dead at the scene.
