The franchise owner for Dayton-area Burger King restaurants says the newest Dayton-area BK restaurant will open this Monday, April 30, in Fairborn.

The latest newly-built Burger King is poised to open at 60 S. Broad St., on a Fairborn tract that previously housed the Flying Tiger Chinese Restaurant.

The Asian restaurant shut down in July 2017 after nearly 30 years under the direction of the Liu family. Members of the Liu family said the closure was voluntary, part of a desire to scale down and allow the  family’s matriarch, who is in her late ‘70s, to retire. The Liu family had reached an agreement with Burger King prior to the closure.
