The first 91 customers at Buckeye Donuts in 1998 N. High St. in Columbus on Thursday will receive the voucher when they purchase a special doughnut, reports The Columbus Dispatch. The doughnuts will be decorated to celebrate Spirit Airlines launching service in Columbus to seven cities.
The voucher giveaway will start at 7 a.m. Spirit chose to offer 91 vouchers since 91 is a “baker’s dozen” for each of the seven locations the airliner will soon begin flying to out of Columbus.
For people who don’t make it to the doughnut shop, Spirit is also running a contest in February for two round-trip tickets to any of the destinations out of Columbus at the website SpiritSweetDeals.com.
In November, Spirit announced it would begin offering a new nonstop service from John Glenn Columbus International Airport to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Tampa and Fort Myers on Feb. 15.

Spirit will also offer a seasonal flight service to New Orleans and Myrtle Beach beginning on March 22.
Spirit does not offer flights to or from Dayton International Airport or the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Spirit operates at more than 450 daily flights to 60 destinations in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean.
