Chance for light rain this afternoon; Colder but dry for weekend

Today will be partly cloudy with a chance for some light rain in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. The chance of rain will linger until soon after nightfall before dropping away.

Temperatures during the day will rise to around 44 degrees, then fall to around 30 degrees overnight.

Tomorrow will be dry but colder, with highs only reaching around 38 degrees under partly sunny skies. We will also see some light wind that will dwindle and calm overnight.

Overnight temperatures will fall to around 25 degrees.

Sunday will be much the same, with partly sunny skies, high temperatures near 38 degrees and low temperatures around 26 degrees to end the weekend.
