Construction is underway for a new apartment building that is located just beyond the outfield at Fifth Third Field in downtown Dayton. Centerfield Flats is a 112 unit, L-shaped building being built by Woodard Development that will add to the hundreds of apartments and condos built downtown in the past few years. The five-story modern brick design will include stadium seating in a community room for views of the ballpark. The building is about 120,000 square feet. Units will range in size, offering between 532-square-foot studios to 1,717-square-foot units with three bedrooms.
