Mark Stanton, director of IT and marketing at Interstate Ford, said it was the first dealership in the Dayton area to be acquired by Kenwood Dealer Group.
“It’ll still the same family-operated business, just a larger family,” Stanton said.
According to Montgomery County records, the property sold for $6.17 million on Sept. 7.
Stanton said they don’t anticipate any major changes, and the dealership already went through a major renovation last year.
A large addition was added to the newly redesigned showroom. Other new features include a remodeled waiting area in the Quick Lane department, an enlarged customer lounge with high-speed wireless network, a new children's play area and a 65-inch TV.
Kenwood Dealer Group was unavailable for comment.
