Four more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Clark County, the Clark County Combined Health District said.

Health district officials initially announced two new cases Saturday afternoon but about two hours later updated that with the confirmation of a third new case. About two hours after that, another positive case was confirmed, the fourth in one day.

Those brought Clark County to six overall COVID-19 cases so far.

Two of the cases involve a husband and wife, according to information late Saturday night.

Currently, three men and three women have been confirmed with cases in Clark County. Their age ranges from 30s to 70s.

Four were hospitalized as of Saturday night.

Positive cases have now been found in the City of Springfield, Bethel Township, German Township and the City of New Carlisle.

“The positive cases are not isolated to one area. We also know that there are unconfirmed cases throughout the county due to testing availability,” said Charles Patterson, Clark County health commissioner. “At this point in the pandemic, social distancing and following the ‘Stay at Home’ order are the only ways we will slow down this virus.”
