A neurologist from Columbus has reached uncharted territory with his March Madness bracket-- he’s the only person who made the right picks in all 48 tournament games played so far.

Gregg Nigl told CNN that he almost missed out on this feat entirely.

“It was the fourth one I filled out, the last one I filled out, and I was very close to going back to bed,” he says.

He believes living in the midwest likely played a part in his incredible picks. “I’m living in Columbus, Ohio, so I watch a lot of Big Ten basketball. I watch my team, the Michigan Wolverines. Go blue!”

Only time will tell if Nigl can keep his perfect bracket going. The next round of the tournament begins Thursday night.
