Scattered storms with gusty winds arrive in parts of Miami Valley

Scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms will continue through the afternoon hours, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Some of the thunderstorms will be capable of producing pea sized hail and wind gusts up to around 40 mph.

Rain chances are predicted to drop off shortly after nightfall. Temperatures during the day will only reach a high of around 63 degrees, falling to around 42 degrees overnight.

On Friday clouds will increase through the day but the NWS predicts we will stay dry, with temperatures rising to around 61 degrees.

Friday night will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to around 42 degrees.

The NWS predicts that Saturday will be about the same as Friday, with partly cloudy skies and highs of around 62 degrees. Overnight, clouds will build as temperatures drop to around 45 degrees.
