The bust happened at the Miami Apartments on Riverside Drive Friday. A resident of the complex said she wasn't surprised. "I could tell there was a few prostitution problems going on just by how the girls and guys would act. Actually, I've been confronted, hey you want to make money? No, I'm not into that."
Police said it all started with a search on craigslist.com. It's a free classified website.
According to reports, an undercover answered an online ad offering an erotic massage. When he called to reserve an appointment, a woman told him that sexual favors were included. That's when police surrounded the apartment.
Adam Harris, 44, and Kathleen Kievitt, 38, allegedly admitted giving more than just a massage. They told officers that they needed to the money because Harris had recently lost his job.
Officers said they found a book full of names and numbers of men who allegedly paid for previous appointments.
Police said the couple was not arrested at the scene - but were summoned into court. Charges are still pending.
