Bags of cocaine, cellphones, money seized in Troy drug investigation

Numerous bags of cocaine, scales and cell phones were among the items seized by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office in a drug raid yesterday, according to a release.

Detectives executed a search warrant on Waterford Drive in Troy. The warrant was part of an investigation into the possession and sale of cocaine in Miami County.

The sheriff’s office seized cocaine packaged for distribution, scales, pills, drug paraphernalia, cellphones and money as evidence of drug trafficking, the release said.

Ashley Cowen, 35, of Troy, was charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
