In online conversations, Greenberg said he was a high school teacher who was sexually involved with several of his female students.
Greenberg, 32, also reportedly sent video of himself masturbating in what appears to be an office. In one such video, a small basketball hoop can be seen in the corner of the room, according to the affidavit.
The FBI and Dayton police on Monday, May 4, interviewed Chaminade Julienne students involved with the girls basketball program to determine if anyone from CJ had been victimized. School officials were made aware of Greenberg’s statement regarding the high school students, said Dan Meixner, CJ president.
“As a result of those screenings, they don’t believe any of our students are involved,” Meixner said. Students who wish to come forward with additional evidence have been instructed to speak with CJ’s director of guidance.
“If we have additional information, whether it is the result of the criminal investigation, information that we receive from a parent or information that we receive from a student, we will obviously try to make sure that our student gets the assistance that they need,” Meixner said.
On Tuesday, Meixner said Greenberg no longer represents CJ or the girls basketball program.
“We will monitor the legal situation and make additional decisions as appropriate,” Meixner said.
FBI spokesman Michael Brooks said the FBI’s investigation is ongoing.
Greenberg appeared to understand the risk he was taking, according to the affidavit.
In March, Greenberg asked a 13-year-old girl to send him a nude photo of herself with his assumed name, Justin, written across her chest.
“I can go to jail,” he said to what in fact was the New York investigator. The investigator said no one would find out about their chat. “I’m sure you are not gonna tell. But you could be a cop,” Greenberg said, according to the affidavit.
