Upon arrival, employees informed officers the package was located while unloading a postal vehicle. Piqua Police Lt. Jason Preston said the package was described as a brown box with no postage, mailing address or return address.
The Dayton Bomb Squad was requested to the scene and removed the package to a secured area behind the Post office and checked.
The contents of the package was not released, and the incident is under investigation.
