Bond $1 million for suspect in Thanksgiving Day homicide

Bond was set at $1 million for a man accused of shooting and killing another man who was sitting in a car with his baby on Thanksgiving.

D’Maughn Davion Stolings Moore, 24, was charged with murder, felonious assault and discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises, according to court records.

During his arraignment Tuesday morning, Moore pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He is scheduled to be back in court Jan. 15 for a scheduling conference.

On Nov. 28, Moore shot at a car while driving by a Kenwood Avenue home, according to the prosecutor’s office.

David Blane, 30, was in the car with his infant child and another man during the time of the shooting.

Both men were shot and taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where Blane died shortly after arriving.

The infant was not harmed during the incident, police said.

The second man in the car returned fire, but did not hit Moore.

Moore reportedly crashed his car before fleeing the area.
