Can you ID this Family Dollar robbery suspect?

Dayton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a Family Dollar store robbery suspect.

The suspect allegedly had a gun in their waistband and robbed the Family Dollar store in in the 1000 block of North Gettysburg Avenue on Tuesday evening.

If anyone recognize this person, call Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP.

UPDATE @ 9:50 p.m.: The surveillance camera system in the Family Dollar store robbed tonight isn't working, Dayton police said, so they are checking nearby businesses for their surveillance video.

The same store, in the 1000 block of North Gettysburg Avenue, has been the target of armed robbers numerous times since 2012:

* March 11: A robber got away with an estimated $83, according to a police incident report.

* June 15, 2015: A robber put his gun on the counter and demanded money.

* Dec. 20, 2015: A robber fled on a bicycle.

* Jan. 5, 2013: Two masked men robbed the store of approximately $100.

* Oct. 18, 2012: A robber, after grabbing a box of Cracker Jacks, robs the store of at least $600, police said.

FIRST REPORT

A gunman has robbed the Family Dollar store in the 1000 block of North Gettysburg Avenue and Dayton police are looking for him.

The robbery was reported about 8:50 p.m. and the robber, according to information given to police, took cash from both registers and was not wearing a mask or gloves.

Police have called for a K-9 unit to track for the suspect, believed to have been wearing denim jeans and a gray hoodie.

We’re hearing that the robber made employees sit on the floor as he robbed the variety store.
