UPDATE @ 6 p.m. (Dec. 11):

A 23-year-old man just released from prison in September after serving three years for rape and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor is now in jail.

Nicholas Cage Hummel, formerly of Moraine, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.

He was indicted Friday indictment in a child pornography case.

FIRST REPORT (Dec. 10):

A 23-year-old man previously convicted of rape was indicted Friday on a child pornography charge.

Nicholas Cage Hummel, formerly of Moraine, is charged with illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

He is not in jail and is due in court Dec. 19 for his arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Hummel was convicted in June 2016 of rape and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He was sentenced to three years in prison. He was released in September and is under five years of supervision by the Adult Parole Authority of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction.
