Court rejects appeal by Ohio cop who murdered pregnant girlfriend

The case attracted national attention because it was among the first times that prosecutors charged someone for the murder of both a woman and her unborn child.

Cutts and Davis were romantically involved and he was the father of her child. During his trial, he insisted the killing was accidental following a struggle between the two.
