A 38-year-old Dayton man accused of abducting two adults and two children was indicted on numerous felony charges.

Chad Barnes is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on four counts of abduction and two counts of aggravated robbery, each with three-year firearm specifications; one count of trespass in a habitation; and two counts of having weapons while under disability for a prior violent act, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report released Thursday.

The charges stem from a June 6 incident in which Barnes allegedly abducted and robbed a man, woman and two children.

Barnes also is accused of trespassing in a home the same day in the 300 block of Lawncrest Avenue in Jefferson Twp.

He remains in the Montgomery County Jail following his June 6 arrest by county sheriff’s deputies.
