He is accused of shooting another man multiple times on May 11 in the 1600 block of Darst Avenue in Dayton.
Miami Valley Crime Stoppers had offered a reward for information leading to Shackleford’s arrest after police could not find him and he was involved in a June 7 felony assault involving a woman.

He has been held in the Montgomery County Jail since his June 17 arrest.

Shackleford, whose arraignment will be Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, also was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of felonious assault — which along with the attempted murder charge carries weapons and repeat violent offender specifications — and one count of having weapons under disability for a prior felony drug conviction, court records show.
