UPDATE @ 5 p.m. (Sept. 24):

A 25-year-old Dayton man was arraigned Tuesday on rape and other sexual assault charges.

Bond was set at $250,000 for Christopher William Baker, who is pleading not guilty to three counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition.

According to a Dayton Municipal Court affidavit, Baker’s accuser reported the incident to staff at a local hospital, which in turn reported it to police.

She reported that Baker was walking her to a bedroom at his house so she could lie down, but that once in the room he pushed her onto the bed and sexually assaulted her multiple times, according to the court document.

A 25-year-old Dayton man was indicted Friday on rape and other sexual assault charges.

Christopher William Baker will be arraigned Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court for three counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition, all felony charges.

He remains in the Montgomery County Jail, he has been held since his Sept. 10 arrest at his home by Dayton police.
