Robert Trammel Smith, 25, will be arraigned Tuesday for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, having weapons under disability and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Smith was arrested July 18 on Kosmo Drive at the Georgetown Village Apartments in Dayton.
Police say he drove a Jeep that fled from police during a targeted neighborhood blitz to reduce gun violence. Smith then got into a car with two other people in it. A passenger in that vehicle, Re’al Streety, ran and was shot and wounded by Dayton police after a foot pursuit. Police said Streety ignored several commands to drop his weapon.
