“I heard somebody knock on my window, and I’m like ‘What the heck is going on?’ So I got up,” the caller says. “I open up the window again, and I see this one kid. I opened it up and I was like ‘What are you, who or why are you at my house? What’s going on?’ ”
“He’s like ‘We were walking on the street and this car pulled up, pulled by us,” the caller said. “He said this vehicle pulled next to him on the street and was firing shots. Like right in front of my house.”
The call came in at around 3 a.m. Friday at a house on Oregonia Road in Turtlecreek Twp.

The caller says she’s not sure if she believes the juvenile because she didn’t hear any shots. But, she soon sees a person between 16 and 18 years old lying next to her AC Unit.
“There’s a kid laying on the ground out by my AC unit, he’s like passed out,” the woman says. “He’s laying there like he’s dead or asleep or passed out, he’s flat on his back.”
That victim was later identified as Mason Trudics, 18, a Warren County Career Center student from Centerville.
Throughout the phone call, another victim continues to pound on the woman’s window, according to the call. The woman refuses to open the window but assures the victim that emergency services are on the way.
“I’m scared,” the woman says.
She says she has a daughter around the ages of the juveniles, but doesn’t recognize the boys outside.
Once the police arrive, the woman says with lights she can see the teen laying next to the AC Unit is injured and has blood on his shirt.
