Deputies investigating after female reportedly hits ex-boyfriend with vehicle

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a male was reportedly hit by his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle.

Deputies responded to the Carriage Inn of Dayton, 5040 Philadelphia Drive, around 12:48 p.m. Wednesday on a report of felonious assault.

An initial investigation showed that the ex-girlfriend surprised the victim who was in the parking lot with another female while he was on break from work, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect became upset and after the male attempted to calm her down, she reportedly hit him with her vehicle.

The male had minor injuries and was taken from the scene by a Harrison Twp. medic.

The suspect’s vehicle was a silver sedan or van, according to deputies.

It is not clear if the suspect is in custody.
