Clarence A. “Chaos” Winn Jr., Larry Winn and Darius J. Reynolds are scheduled to be arraigned April 5 by U.S. District Court Judge Walter Rice in a case unsealed March 29.
“We are prosecuting more and more fentanyl-related narcotics-trafficking cases, both in Dayton and district-wide,” said Benjamin Glassman, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio. “Fentanyl and its analogs are incredibly dangerous and are at the heart of the overdoses and deaths plaguing our region.”

Applications for search warrants have been filed for two “stash houses” in Trotwood and one in Dayton connected to the Winn, Winn and Reynolds case.
The Regional Agencies Narcotics and Gun Enforcement (RANGE) Task Force operation included confidential informants, undercover officers, wireless transmitters and surveillance, according to the complaint.

“Drug distribution resulting in death is a heinous crime that warrants decades of federal prison time,” Glassman said. “We are committed to bringing those prosecutions.”

In other federal local drug-related cases:
Taylor DeVaughn White gave a free sample to fentanyl to two plain-clothes officers, a federal complaint said. That resulted in eight more buys and an indictment on 13 counts related to drug trafficking and weapons charges.

Daniel R. Gordon has been indicted for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and for having three weapons as a previously convicted felon. Court documents show officer seized $7,357, two Glock pistols and a Taurus pistol.
Josue Amaya-Salazar is being detained after task force members found $300,000 and heroin in his car. A bill of information has been entered for one count of aiding and abetting attempted international money laundering.
Manuel Jaime Hernandez Mendoza , the man accused of having 14 pounds of crystal methamphetamine in his car, has a detention hearing scheduled for April 4 and a preliminary hearing set for April 13.
Yajaira Jimenez, Shawn Kaae and Victor Luna-Navarro were indicted for trafficking more than 500 grams of cocaine.
Jesus Abrego-Cerna was indicted for possession with intent to distribute heroin and being a previously removed alien.
