Exotic dancer accused in dragging death: He put hands on me

Woman says the man she’s accused of killing was a client who touched her inappropriately.

MONROE — An exotic dancer accused of running over a Monroe man with her SUV and dragging him to death told police the man touched her inappropriately during a private show at his home, according to police.

A hysterical Kristina Hensley recounted to Monroe police Officer Andrew White how Jae Cho, 31, attempted to slash her tires before stepping in front of her Ford Explorer as she tried to leave, according to White’s five-page incident report.

Hensley, 35, of Higginsport, is charged with fleeing the scene of an accident about 5 a.m. Saturday. Cho was found dead underneath her SUV when she stopped at a Shell gas station at Ohio 63 and Interstate 75 — more than a mile from Cho’s Timrick Place home, police said.

Hensley was “in hysterics and visibly upset” when officers arrived at the gas station on Hamilton-Lebanon Road, White wrote in his report.

“I had Kristina sit and try to calm down,” he wrote.

Hensley, a performer with Naughty Bodies in Covington, Ky., said she had received a call from her company to go to 367 Timrick Place for a private show. She said she arrived about 4:20 a.m.

Once inside, Hensley said Cho began putting his hands on her and touching her in ways that were inappropriate, according to the police report.

“She states that she told him not to touch her, and she went out to get back into her vehicle,” White wrote.

Hensley claimed Cho tried to damage her SUV by attempting to slash its tires.

“She then started her vehicle and put it in drive. As she began to drive forward, (he) stepped in front of her vehicle and she hit him with her car,” White wrote.

Hensley told the officer she felt something and heard something underneath her vehicle, but was unaware that he had become stuck under the SUV. She said she drove to the Shell station for help.

Cho, who was about 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds, died of “multiple blunt force injuries,” according to Warren County Coroner Dr. Russell Uptegrove.

Monroe police Officer Gregg Myers has said Cho’s leg got caught in the transmission.

Hensley remains in the Butler County Jail.
