The fathers of two teen girls injured Saturday night at a party said their daughters were bullied and forced to box other girls or suffer a beating.

Dave Philpot said his 16-year-old daughter injured her shoulder, which may be separated or broken. Chris Ghephart said his 15-year-old daughter suffered a concussion after she was hit repeatedly in the back of the head.

Both men spoke with our news partner at WHIO-TV about the fight at a birthday party attended by 40 to 60 teens in the basement of an Oxford Road home in German Twp.

“When I first heard about it, I was just disgusted,” Philpot told WHIO. “They were having a mini fight club in their basement and allowing their child to do this. I think they … need to be prosecuted if people are turning a blind eye to this, they need to be stopped.”

Philpot filed a report with German Twp. police and also shared on the Facebook public group Valley View Spartans Germantown Ohio a fighting video, which he said was not his but was circulating on social media.

“Several kids said they didn’t want to do it but were told by other kids there if they didn’t that they would be beat up. I find this disturbing that any parent would allow this at their home,” he posted.

German Twp. police are investigating the reports, but no charges have been filed. Police told WHIO the case will be presented to the prosecutor’s office for consideration of charges.
